The DC Modern Quilt Guild’s Social Justice Committee completed its first project for the Social Justice Sewing Academy. We were asked to embroider 10 student blocks. We had five new people participating in SJSA embroidery and two of them were brand new to any kind of embroidery. Thank you all for finishing up some gorgeous blocks and supporting students in making art that they are passionate about with fabric.
