Lady Liberty

The Statue of Liberty was given to the US in celebration of its first hundred years as a nation, and also to commemorate the alliance between France and the US. A beacon of hope for the 12 million people who immigrated here, it is seen as a symbol of freedom and hope.

I chose to place the image of Lady Liberty as the center of a sun, radiating its light to the darkness of divisiveness.
